Taste of Colorado Hot Dog Eating Contest

Steve's Snappin' Dogs and Gabby Gourmet presented the first-ever hot dog eating contest at the Taste of Colorado on September 4, 2009 at the Fine Dining Stage.

A group of random onlookers were chosen to compete in the three-minute eat-off - one of which was none other than Andrew "A-Bomb" Lane. Lane, a competitive eater, has competed in every one of Steve's hot dog eating contests including the recent August 28th eat off at Infinity Park and every Chow Down for Charity event since their inception in 2008.  Needless to say, Lane took top honors of the Taste of Colorado Hot Dog Eating Contest consuming a total of 6 hot dogs in the three minute eat-off.
